And where better to start than with a first frame close-up of Efron, aka Troy Bolton, the cutestsweetest boy in East High, captain of the Wildcats basketball team and dating cutestsweetest fellow senior Gabriella Montez (Hudgens, also Efron’s girl in real life!)?
What a swell couple they make in this sugary song-and-danceathon about making choices and putting on a show. And with Troy, twins Sharpay and Ryan Evans (Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel) and Kelsi Nielsen (Olesya Rulin) all vying for one spot at New York’s prestigious Juilliard School, the lukewarm heat is on!
